Advanced Welding Special Inspection (July 26, 2026)

Description: This course will highlight the common code interpretations that come up in dealing with Structural Steel Welding Inspection, Welding Procedure Specification/Procedure Qualification Record Evaluation, Seismic Resistant Frame Inspection, and NDT Testing. These advanced topics will include a review for the following building codes: AISC 360-10 Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings, AISC 341-10 Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Building, AISC 358-10 Prequailfied Connections for Special and Intermediate Steel Moment Frames, and AWS D1.8-09 Structural Welding Code- Seismic Supplement. At the conclusion of this course you will be able to identify and evaluate Quality Control/Assurance Procedures, Seismic Moment Frames, and WPS/PQR.

ACI Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation (August 9th and 16th, 2026) *Workshop is Full*

This workshop prepares an individual for the ACI Adhesive Anchor Installation Inspector exam.

A certified Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge required to properly inspect the installation of post-installed adhesive and mechanical anchors in concrete. The Inspector must understand the responsibilities and qualification requirements of the Installer, the inspection requirements as cited in the documents governing the construction of the project, and the process governing the qualification of anchor systems.

2 day workshop, 12 hours or 1.2 CEU's  (6 hours each day)

  • Exam information:
    • The exam is only required to obtain the ACI Post Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector certification, not for earning the CEUs. You will earn the CEUs by attending the workshop.
    • To obtain the ACI Post Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector certification you must schedule and pass an open book inspector exam and a closed book practical exam
    • Individuals taking the exam should register and review the contents of the Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector reference pack. (CP81PACK) at least four weeks in advance of our training to ensure you have books ready to highlight the first day of class.
